1 week to go before I hit my summer Ironman, Ironman France in Nice on 24 June.
As with Austria IM last year, only entered 2 months ago so its been a rush to get up to scratch for the 3.8 km swim, 180 km bike and 42km marathon, with some injuries getting in the way. We'll know in 1 week if its been enough.......
The event should have been a huge showcase for Ironman with Lance Armstrong competing in his first full distance race, but sadly, with investigation from the USADA, that is not to be.
Looking forward to it regardless.
