Running out of superlatives to describe these incredible Olympics. Not just the amazing performances, but the enthralling stories behind so many of them. And for anyone with children, there cannot be any better school lesson than to sit down with them and show what dedication, focus, determination and passion can achieve in life, whatever their own "Everests". And a lot more lessons besides.

These are lessons you don't get in school and no teacher can ever convey. Children respond to examples, pictures, heroes and role models. Not everyone can be an Olympic champion, but in the case of British Rowing champion Helen Glover, even a snap decision just four years ago was good enough for her. Or as the old adage goes, if you want something bad enough, then anything is possible.

I'm utterly obsessed with the tournament and if you haven't yet tuned in, you're missing the greatest show on Earth!
