Have been appointed as an honory ambassador to Ecoventure Dubai, who opened the Middle East's first dedicated Environmental Field Studies Centre yesterday in the the heart of the Suhaila desert, near Al Dhaid, UAE.
The centre will primarily offer the UAE's children - and in due course adults and corporates - an active introduction to the country's eco-systems and bio-diversity, along with environmental education programmes.
The UAE has the very best and worst when it comes to environmental concerns but awareness starts with the young and I'm delighted to lend my support to this great initiative, which will likely have an impact across the whole region.
