My new book, One Man’s Climb: A Journey of Trauma, Tragedy and Triumph, has its UK launch this month and USA premiere in November, published by Pen and Sword (hardback version).

The book’s original idea was to tell the story, profound events, tragedy and ultimate triumph of my two attempts on K2 in 2013 and 2014. However, as it grew in concept and during writing in 2017, it became far more of a personal story  than envisaged, and the resultant publication is as much a book on human development, real teamwork and our lives in the world below as it is a story of climbing a mountain.

The UK launch, presentation and book signing takes place at the Royal Geographical Society, London, on Tuesday 30 October 2018 at 19;00 hrs, reception from 18:00, details and tickets available from: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/one-mans-climb-book-launch-and-presentation-tickets-50841829280

The book will be available in UK book stores thereafter and available online now from: https://www.amazon.co.uk/One-Mans-Climb-Journey-Tragedy/dp/1526745372

The USA premiere for the book will take place at the Explorers Club New York two weeks later, on Tuesday 13 November 2019 at 1900, reception from 18:00, details and tickets available from:

The book will be published worldwide from March 2019.
