Recently completed shooting the documentary In Inner Mongolia, China. The documentary, for which I am a co-presenter, studies the influence of the Mongols, their culture and heritage and their place in today’s modern China. Not too many people know that Inner Mongolia is actually part of China, as opposed to Outer Mongolia, which is now an independent state.
The shoot was highly rewarding, educational and great fun. And hard work – we travelled most days on our minibus for 6-8 hours, with a couple of 12-hour jaunts. Sleep became a precious resource. Thanks to Director Mitch Farkas, co-presenters Mathew Vandeputte and Lili Ji and all the crew for the great experience. The show will be broadcast on Discovery Channel Asia next month, other networks after. If you’d like to know when it’s showing please sign up to the subscribe link.
Although I have three documentaries out now, this was the first presenting role and looking forward to developing this line of work much further in the future through my agent, Past Preservers.
